Rural Information Technology Investment
Students/youth in a rural community can learn usage of simple IT and have a low cost data capture facility. The size of population covered would be small so that various local information can be tracked with accuracy necessary for the specific community. Having such local centers networked via a higher level system would then help share and communicate information amongst the them. This two phased development plan will on one side help allow rural folks to learn IT that is locally useful (grass roots) while the state and federal system to distribute useful resources amongst them.
